Stop By Our Longest Day
Stitch in Public Event
Join us at The Capitol Market on West Virginia Day, June 20th from 11am-2pm as our Chapter Members Stitch in Public to raise awareness for the ALZ Association! Stop by our table to say hello, admire some finished projects stitched by our super talented members, and pick up info from the ALZ Association.

'Take a Stitch' for ALZ
MMNA will be inviting the public to “Take a Stitch for Alzheimer’s”. MMNA members will be stitching the dark purple letter outlines and the sunshine on a Longest Day Logo Sampler. Members of the public will be encouraged to take stitches at the Capitol Market to fill in the letters. Once the project is completed, it will be framed and presented to the Charleston Alzheimer’s Association for display in their office. A ledger will be attached to the back of the finished piece to record everyone who contributed a stitch. Check back in our Event Photo Gallery above to watch the progress!
